The photo's don't do this one justice. You need to see and feel the display cabinets and the benchtops to really appreciate this one. Another two pack polyurethane finish for the kitchen cabinetry, which is very much the trend at the moment, with some great (and colourful) appliances to make this job a real stand out.
The genius in this design is the centralised rectangle section of this open planned living area. One long side of the rectangle is adjacent to the entrance of the house and has a custom-built solid american oak display cabinet, with the opposite long side having the cooktop run of the kitchen and the entry to the walk-in pantry.
The short sides of the rectangle have a consealed office space on one end and another american oak display cabinet on the other end.
Right in the middle of the rectangle is where we've situated the walk-in pantry, which has enabled us to use a space that wouldn't normally be used. This has provided our clients with more space around the kitchen for entertaining guests and has made way for the star of the show, the island bench.
The island bench was constructed using 20mm titanium leathered granite with 40mm mitred edges to give it a little more impact. Waterfall ends on both sides really make this natural stone stand out and it's truly something to behold.
Premium Blum hardware was used throughout this job and is the icing on the cake.
